Practical details and logistics

The courses will be held at College of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, Addis Ababa University, Bishoftu Campus, Hora Road, Bishoftu, Ethiopia 

Selection procedure

Applications have been evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • CV (maximum 25 points)
  • Motivation letter (maximum 15 points)
  • Publications attached to the application (10 points)

A ranking it’s been established to fill the 20 available places. In case of a tie, the youngest candidate will be preferred.

Training plan

Lessons consist of both online sections and in presence seminars. As detailed below, the in-presence sections include group-work activities supervised by tutors from POLIMI and UNIPD and field visits. The 5 days in presence end with presentations of the project work activities, a round table discussion and a closing ceremony (including handing out of certificates to participants).
